Rappel des faits
Le 10 septembre 2025, à l’Université de la Vallée de l’Utah (Utah Valley University), campus d’Orem (Utah), Charlie Kirk s’exprimait lors d’un événement public organisé par Turning Point USA (sa tournée “American Comeback Tour”). Il a été abattu par balle, touché au cou, lors d’un tir depuis une position surélevée (environ 180-190 mètres) en dehors de la scène.
Tyler Robinson, 22 ans, résident de l’Utah, a été arrêté le 11 septembre 2025 après une traque de 33 heures. Sur les conseils de son père, il s’est livré au FBI.
Les forces de l’ordre ont retrouvé : le fusil, des douilles (certaines avec des inscriptions/gravures antifa ou provocatrices), des messages du suspect à un colocataire évoquant la récupération de l’arme, des images de vidéosurveillance du suspect fuyant après le tir.
